JOB SUMMARY
Cresco Labs is seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Security Supervisor to join our growing team. The Security Supervisor will work under the direct supervision of the Security Manager supporting the development and implementation of company-wide security programs and managing all state operational security needs. Responsibilities include: ensuring all company security operations comply with local, state, and federal standards at facility and retail locations, coordination in key markets before, during and after incidents, and coordination with third-party vendors as applicable. A successful applicant can educate employees on best security practices and advise employees on security performance improvements.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Responsible for day-to-day security engagement at all sites within market (facility and retail locations)
- Leads state-wide implementation of corporate security programs such as location security, emergency management, access control, CCTV installation/management and cash handling/payment (where applicable)
- Contributes to the development of cost-effective approaches to achieve compliance with security-related protocols and training
- Advises all state locations on security protocols and procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal agencies
- Conducts escalated security audits and follow-up inspections state-wide
- Responds to emergency situations at all locations in market and prepares reports of findings, then submits recommendations to leadership
- Provides security process and procedure training to facility and retail sites; collaborates with key business partners to ensure annual training compliance
- Implements a learning culture through lessons learned from near-miss reporting, security observations, incident investigations and other experiences
- Assists site team members with all security concerns at all locations
- Recruits and trains security personnel on appropriate security rules and procedures
- Directs the activities of security personnel to ensure protection of the organization’s physical assets, properties, and resources
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal in criminal justice, public administration, or in a related field preferred
- 3-5 yea
