About the Role

Provides housekeeping support for assigned area. Serves as a primary contact for departmental housekeeping needs. Performs general housekeeping functions using standard equipment. Performs preventative maintenance activities including analysing needs and setting up schedule for heavier cleaning which may include overseeing contractors or performing cleaning. Participated in continuous improvement efforts through management-by-planning. Maintains supplies, equipment, Information, Etc.. As applicable. Performs other functions as needed In accordance with group expectations. Shift times may vary in order to support production needs. Works handling a variety of tasks with changing priorities. Work is primarily routine, standard, and performed under general supervision with specific instructions given for specialized tasks.

Your Responsibilities

• Provides housekeeping support according to standard work chart requirements in respective area using standard and/or specialized equipment, cleaning utensils, cleaning products, etc. 
• Serves as primary contact for departmental housekeeping needs.  Maintains supplies, equipment, information, etc. as applicable.
• Performs preventative maintenance activities including analyzing needs and setting up schedule for heavier cleaning which may include overseeing contractors or performing cleaning.  Reports unsafe equipment and conditions to appropriate parties.    
• Participates in continuous improvement efforts through management-by-planning.
• Performs other functions as needed in accordance with group expectations.  May include construction of lifetime material as needed to support manufacturing activities.
• Report any unsafe condition or action to his or her supervisor.
• Report any work-related injury to his or her supervisor.
• Shift times may vary in order to support production needs. 
• Works handling a variety of tasks with changing priorities. 
• Work is primarily routine, standard, and performed under general supervision with specific instructions given for specialized tasks.

Who we are looking for

• Must be able to perform basic housekeeping skills applicable to assigned tasks; vacuum, mop, change light bulbs, etc.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office with the ability to navigate in Outlook.
• Must be able to operate specialized equipment used to perform job duties i.e., scissor lift, snow blower, fork-lift, floor polisher, power tools etc.  
• Possesses good organizational skills for the ability to handle changing tasks and priorities.
• Needs valid driver’s license and must possess a working vehicle to work between plants or drive to pick up tools.
• Ability to work varying shift times to support production needs.

Your preferred qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and must possess a working vehicle.
