User Experience Consultant, Senior

Key Role:

Support client engagements for the User Experience (UX) capability to create solutions in support of client strategies and execution, including applying UX, Human Factors, and Design Thinking to conceptualize and create products for digital experiences and applications. Employ new or ensure consistency of existing user experience standards and work internally with both cross-functional teams and clients. Work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment to produce on time and within budget while maintaining quality. Exhibit teamwork with clients and members of the creative team, take direction, and solicit feedback to ensure the best possible product. Work without considerable direction, mentor and provide oversight and guidance to junior staff.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience with UX

• Experience with leading teams conducting user research and user testing methodologies

• Experience with supporting client meetings and user research sessions, creating client and internal presentations

• Experience with industry-standard wireframing and prototyping tools

• Experience with initiating and conducting workshops with stakeholders and end users to promote design thinking solutions within projects

• Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and interaction design, the user-centered design process, and UX principles and techniques

• Knowledge of the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, and interface design

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Knowledge of World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards

• Ability to share knowledge and coach junior staff to enhance the technical capability of the team

• Human Factors Certification

• Usability Certification
