Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced EAP Clinical Supervisor, for our Lifework Strategies Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As an EAP Clinical Supervisor, you will:
• Conduct telephonic and face-to-face clinical risk assessments, and provide consultations and short-term problem resolution, counseling, and follow-up services/case management for EAP participants.
• Serve as a consultant for managers and HR Business Partners regarding employee and workplace challenges. Support and oversee the administration of Mandatory Referral Services. (e.g. educate managers and employees, ensure timely follow-up and documentation, keep the Director apprised of high-risk situations).
• Participate in employee-facing events such as presentations, benefits fairs, tabling/rounding events, etc. Seek out partnerships to promote EAP and support employees throughout the system (e.g. spiritual care).
• Coordinate on-site Critical Incident Response (CIR) services for Adventist HealthCare. Provide on-site CIR services as needed. The Internal EAP Clinical Supervisor will oversee all CIR consultations for Adventist HealthCare.
• Recruit, train, and retain a high-quality provider network in the geographic areas where Adventist HealthCare Employees reside.
• Provide direct operational oversight and guidance to EAP staff and vendors which includes: coordinating telephone coverage, delivery of service (e.g. consulting with team on scope and limitations of service), and clinical supervision as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Outline and communicate clinical protocols while actively identifying ways to improve processes to elevate service delivery.
• Review all case records at closing to ensure clinical care and documentation standards have been met. Approve clinician invoice and submit for payment.
• Participate in after-hours on-call schedule and respond to after-hours emergency phone calls as necessary.
• Analyze and collect data to provide accurate and timely reporting on program utilization, trends, etc. Present these findings to leadership throughout the system.
• Collaborate with the HR and LifeWork Strategies teams to provide a robust employer health program, focused on our whole person approach.
Qualifications include:
• Master’s degree in Behavioral Health related field
• B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited university in a business, healthcare or related field of study required.
• Minimum 4-5 years relevant work experience in EAP, management services, and drug and alcohol services, licensed with strong clinical experience, and knowledge of the mental health & wellness industry including program design.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience required
LCSW, CEAP
• Advanced knowledge and experience with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Proficient PC skills: Windows, Internet, E-mail
