Design Operations Lead

We are committed to intimately understanding and delivering features and designs that enable the most enjoyable and easy-to-use experience for our customers.    We're seeking a talented Design Lead to join our Product team and drive the design efforts for our maps product at StubHub. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to shape the user experience, visual design, and functionality of our interactive seating maps, enabling fans to seamlessly discover and purchase tickets to their favorite events. You'll play a key role in greenfield designs and innovation enablement, pushing the boundaries of traditional design to deliver groundbreaking experiences that redefine how fans engage with live events.    This is a hybrid work opportunity located in New York, NY. We have a 3-day in-office and 2-day remote schedule.

What You've Done

• Successfully led the design of complex digital products or features, with a focus on delivering intuitive, user-friendly experiences. 
• Demonstrated ability to translate user research and insights into innovative design solutions that drive business goals and improve key metrics. 
• Built and maintained design systems or component libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency in design workflows. 
• Effectively managed and mentored a team of designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement. 
• Collaborated closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality design solutions on time and within budget. 
• Conducted usability testing, design reviews, and post-launch evaluations to iterate and improve product designs based on user feedback and data analysis. 

What You'll Do

• Define and champion a compelling design vision for our maps product that enhances the fan experience and supports business objectives, leveraging greenfield designs and fostering innovation. 
• Conduct user research, gather feedback, and analyze user behavior to inform design decisions and create intuitive, user-friendly seating maps. 
• Develop high-fidelity designs, user interfaces, and interactive prototypes that elevate the visual appeal and usability of our maps product, while fostering innovation and pushing the boundaries of traditional design. 
• Establish and maintain a robust design system for seating maps, ensuring consistency, scalability, and efficiency in design workflows, while enabling innovation and experimentation. 
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver impactful design solutions that drive innovation and enhance the fan experience. 
• Lead and mentor a team of talented designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their growth and development, while empowering them to explore new ideas and approaches. 
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design, and leverage insights to continuously enhance our maps product, while driving innovation and exploring new opportunities for growth. 
• Conduct thorough design reviews, usability testing, and post-launch evaluations to identify areas for improvement and optimize the fan experience, while fostering a culture of innovation and experimentation
