Your Impact 

Axon Justice builds modern tools for justice systems across the world. We serve public prosecutors, defense attorneys, and courts of the United States and many nations worldwide. Our tools help modernize the justice system, accelerate justice and elevate truth across every stakeholder we serve.

In this role you will lead and grow the organization responsible for serving the needs of justice institutions like Executive Office for US Attorneys, US Courts and others worldwide helping improve outcomes for the public. You will use your creativity, business, technical and analytical skills to grow the business and solve our customer’s hardest problems.

The ideal candidate is a “full stack” leader of a multi-functional product organization - technically proficient enough to work with world class engineers and adept at working across all business functions like sales, UX, marketing, business development, legal and customer success. You have a track record for building direct relationships with customers & users in a B2B setting and are able to nurture and grow the business over the long term. 

What You’ll Do 
Location: Remote anywhere in the US (although we also have beautiful offices in Seattle, WA and Scottsdale, AZ).
Reports to: Sr.Director of Product - Adjacent Markets
Direct Reports: Product Management, UX (3-6)

  • Build a world class organization: Hire and develop the best talent across all functions you own. Grow and develop people that consistently deliver high quality results, work well with others across the company and are deeply responsive to customers.
  • Customer Obsession: Form deep relationships with our large anchor customers like the US attorneys office, public prosecutors and defenders. Understand their jobs as well as they do and organize your team to solve their problems while growing Axon’s business.
  • Leadership & Vision: Provide crystal clear leadership and vision for the future of Axon Justice and influence effectively across all business functions. 
  • Critical Thinking & Writing: Write excellent, detailed organizational vision and business strategy artifacts that clarifies and aligns all stakeholders. 
  • Influence & Trust: Build trust with senior leaders through role modeling Axon’s leadership principles. Work with all levels of product, technical and business staff across software and hardware engineering earning their trust, holding them accountable and problem solving alongside them. Represent Axon Justice and it’s needs with excellence and clarity at key company forums from our annual planning, business reviews, strategy reviews to our public facing conferences.
  • Deliver Results: Grow adoption of Axon Justice across the world and relentlessly improve the product exceeding customer expectations.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or other analytical field
  • 10+ years professional experience within world class software product organizations in a multi-disciplinary role, with at least 4 specifically in a product management leadership role.
  • 2+ years of experience working with large enterprise customers 
  • Ability to travel 30% of the year to embed deeply with the customer, build relationships and expand our adoption
  • You resonate with Axon's Values and our mission that technology can be applied to tackle the federal government's biggest challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, influencing and team building 
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
