Additive Manufacturing Project Engineer

GoEngineer is looking for a production-oriented Project Engineer with Additive Manufacturing experience to join our technical 3DServices team. GoEngineer’s Project Engineers provide technical knowledge and insights to facilitate quoting and production of customer projects across the US.  

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Support 3DServices sales and production teams with technical knowledge, application consulting, and project estimation  

• Maintain expert level understanding of GoEngineer’s line of 3D printing and related solutions  

• Queue, operate, and maintain multiple Industrial 3D Printers of different technologies 

• Clean, package, and inspect 3D printed parts 

• Work to continually improve systems and processes to optimize productivity 

• Research industry trends and competitive technologies  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering-related discipline and/or relevant work experience   
• Hands-on, professional experience in additive manufacturing / 3D printing  
• Knowledge of SOLIDWORKS or equivalent 3D CAD software  
• Technical sales and/or support  
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills  
• Comfort with in-person and online public speaking & presentations  
• Strong troubleshooting & problem-solving skills  
• Ability to manage multiple customer interactions

Position Hours & Location: This position is an in-office position in Pleasant Ridge, MI. Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
