Are you a hands-on manufacturing leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to bring clarity, structure, and accountability to a production team? We’re growing our operational footprint and are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead, strengthen communication practices, and champion continuous improvement as our processes evolve.
This role is critical to ensure our teams operate safely, efficiently, and with the highest level of quality—while building the foundation for the next phase of Valcom’s growth.
As a key member of our operations team, you will:
Lead daily production operations, including shift start-up, standups, performance communication, and issue escalation
Ensure a safe, compliant, and organized work environment while modeling safety-first behavior
Own key KPIs within the assigned work groups: Health & Safety, FPY, OTD, productivity
Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable to expectations and work standards while fostering high morale, consistent communication, and a culture of ownership across your team
Partner closely with Quality, Engineering, Materials, Shipping/Receiving, and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve issues quickly and effectively
Support continuous improvement initiatives, building standard work and implementing 5S within your area
Create or update SOPs and visual work instructions in partnership with the Quality team
Ensure accurate planning, scheduling, and productivity reporting as part of daily operational routines
What You Bring to the Table
5+ years of lean manufacturing experience
3+ years of leadership experience leading preferably leading multi-skilled teams (15–30+ employees)
Proven success improving KPIs such as OTD, FPY, productivity, and safety
Strong decision-making skills with the ability to act quickly in fast-paced environments
Exceptional communication skills—clear, concise, consistent, and able to set daily expectations
Ability to coach, develop, and hold team members accountable while maintaining trust
Experience with SOPs, work instructions, and production documentation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP or KPI tracking tools
Strong understanding of production workflows, escalation processes, and problem-solving techniques
Preferred Qualifications
Background in electronics assembly, mechanical assembly, or similar manufacturing environments
Experience with 5S, CI projects, standard work, or Lean methodologies
Exposure to root cause analysis, waste reduction, or continuous improvement frameworks
Experience supporting production areas undergoing restructuring or process transformation
Schedule
Full-time, on-site role
Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Overtime as required based on production needs
