Job Description
Overview:
The Assistant Sales Manager, plays a prominent role in supporting the Sales team in meeting the sales and settlement goals for the respective community.
*This position requires weekend and evening working hours.
Key Deliverables:
- Achieve sales and settlement goals as defined by the Director of Sales
- Guide purchasers through the full homebuying journey—from initial sale through settlement and beyond
- Provide weekly updates to buyers on the status of their home throughout the process
- Implement and execute a sales plan for the assigned community
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and Newstar Sales systems
- Follow up with prospective buyers daily, weekly, and monthly through phone, email, and other communication channels
- Build relationships with relocation companies, real estate professionals, and local businesses through outreach, presentations, and referrals
- Ensure the professional appearance of the sales office, model homes, and community spaces by working with cleaners, landscapers, and service vendors
- Attend bi-weekly sales meetings at the corporate office, as well as other required work-related meetings
- Submit weekly reports, including sales tracking via Tally, community logs, sales-construction meeting notes, and additional documentation as requested
- Maintain general knowledge of the homebuilding market and competitor activity within the assigned community
- Foster a professional and inclusive environment by treating all individuals with fairness and respect
- Adhere to Fair Housing Laws and the guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, including the Americans with Disabilities Act
What You Bring:
Proven track record of successful sales and/or delivery of high quality customer service
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proactive, organized, and self-motivated individual
Capable of developing strong client relationships
Administrative experience a positive
Computer/Technologically savvy
