Schedule:

Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. 

At Wellness Resource Center we specialize in providing services to adults struggling with substance use disorders, mental health, and associated co-occurring disorders in an inpatient and outpatient basis.

The Primary Therapist responsibilities:

• Conduct psychosocial assessment and develop an initial treatment plan.
• Conduct individual, group or family sessions as appropriate for the treatment plan of the patient.
• May provide these services in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
• May assist in educating and training staff on behavior management or therapeutic crisis intervention.
• Provide case management, discharge planning or after-care planning according to treatment plan.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other therapeutic field is required.
• One or more years’ experience as a therapist with one or more years’ experience with the specific population of the facility is required.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Eligible for state licensure as a professional therapy provider preferred.
• CPR required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
• First aid

 

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
