Course: 20th Century Europe
This course examines the political, economic, and social developments of European history in the 20th century from the foundations of late 19th century unification through the struggles of globalization and terrorism at the beginning of the 21st century. Emphasis is placed on the impact of two world wars, totalitarianism, the decline of empire and the Cold War.
What You Will Do:
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
What You Will Bring:
*Professional or Teaching experience required
- Preferred: PhD in History
- Minimum: Master's in History with 20th Century Europe coursework
- Exceptions may be granted to individuals with a Master's in any field possessing either: 9 graduate credits in History and substantial teaching experience.
