Dataminr is looking for a Senior Visual Storyteller to own and elevate our approach to presentation design across the organization. This is not just about making slides look good—it’s about transforming complex ideas into clear, persuasive visual narratives that drive impact with internal and external audiences alike.

You’ll bring a blend of presentation mastery, visual design chops, and strategic thinking. This is a role for someone who sees presentations as a powerful medium for brand storytelling and knows how to bring structure, hierarchy, and beauty to high-stakes content.

The Opportunity

• Create High-Impact Visual Narratives – Design compelling, well-structured presentations that turn ideas and data into stories.

• Drive Presentation Standards – Establish and maintain brand-aligned presentation templates, components, and visual systems.

• Partner with Stakeholders – Work closely with marketing, execs, sales, and product teams to craft presentations for pitches, internal comms, keynotes, and events.

• Own the Craft – Elevate every slide with strong layout, type, data visualization, and motion where appropriate.

• Evolve the Medium – Bring forward-thinking ideas on how we can evolve presentation formats across tools like PowerPoint, Google Slides, and beyond.

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience in presentation design, ideally within a B2B or tech organization.

• A strong portfolio showcasing clean, on-brand presentation work, with a focus on storytelling, clarity, and visual polish.

• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

• Deep understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and content structure.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills—you know how to pull the right information and ask the right questions to shape a great deck.

• Nice to have: Motion design or animation experience to add subtle dynamism to presentations.
