Work you'll do

As a PROJECT - Lead Data Engineer II on the AI & Data team, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the design and implementation of enterprise data architectures that unify legacy and modern technologies into an integrated data platform
• Designing data integration frameworks, pipelines, and patterns that support secure, scalable, and reliable data exchange across systems
• Defining and implementing data governance, metadata, data quality, and data lifecycle practices to improve trust in enterprise data assets
• Collaborating with client and delivery teams to translate mission, business, and technical requirements into data platform solutions
• Guiding platform modernization efforts across cloud, data management, and integration capabilities in support of federal client objectives

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• Active Secret level security clearance 
• 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data architecture, data integration, or enterprise data management
• 3+ years of experience designing enterprise data architectures for large-scale environments
• 3+ years of experience implementing data integration solutions across multiple systems and platforms
• 3+ years of experience establishing data governance, metadata, and data quality practices
• 3+ years of experience supporting federal government data management or data modernization initiatives
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

• Experience designing cloud-based data platforms
• Experience with enterprise data warehousing, data lakes, or lakehouse architectures
