Primary Responsibilities:
Day to day management of the governance framework across FTSE Russell, ensuring processes and procedures are suitable for a regulated benchmark administrator.
Enhance and develop governance procedures and controls so that the framework continues to operate effectively and to consistently high standards.
Deliver training on the governance framework to support strong awareness of governance requirements across the business
Support the delivery of internal controls and other reports which involves engaging with third party auditors and maintaining effective record-keeping
Manage the Conflicts of Interest register and accompanying business processes.
Maintain and run the Governance team's internal Sharepoint site to support awareness and use of governance policies and procedures
Owns and drives ad-hoc projects for the business to support strategic objectives and business improvements.
Engage with colleagues across the business to support effective decision-making and oversight
Essential Skills/Experience Required:
Experience of working in a regulated business
Strong verbal and written skills
Governance or Compliance background
Ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders and lead change
Well organised with strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience of working within a regulated business
Understanding of the global financial marketplace
Desired Skills/Experience Required:
Good interpersonal skills, able to work in a small team
Experience of financial indices is highly desirable
Strong organisational skills
Working knowledge of Office 365 applications
