Gigamon is looking for a Sr. Manager of Channel Operations to lead and optimize our global channel programs. This role reports to the VP, GTM Operations and is critical to driving sales growth and simplifying how partners do business with us. As the Sr. Manager of Channel Operations, you will lead and streamline Gigamon’s global channel programs—playing a key role in increasing sales and simplifying how our partners engage with us. You will bring a deep understanding of channels, sales, partner ecosystems, and business operations within the networking or security industry. In this role, you’ll work closely with sales leadership, apply strong analytical and organizational skills, and leverage your systems expertise to drive scalable improvements. You’re intellectually curious, quick to learn, and detail-oriented—able to manage day-to-day operations while executing on high-impact, strategic initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Gigamon is looking for a Sr. Manager of Channel Operations to lead and optimize our global channel programs. As the Sr. Manager of Channel Operations, you will lead and streamline Gigamon’s global channel programs—playing a key role in increasing sales and simplifying how our partners engage with us. You will bring a deep understanding of channels, sales, partner ecosystems, and business operations within the networking or security industry. In this role, you’ll work closely with sales leadership, apply strong analytical and organizational skills, and leverage your systems expertise to drive scalable improvements. You’re intellectually curious, quick to learn, and detail-oriented—able to manage day-to-day operations while executing on high-impact, strategic initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the global execution of Gigamon’s partner program, including onboarding, membership management, and operations.
- Collaborate with Channel Sales leadership to drive strategic enhancements to the program and support go-to-market initiatives.
- Own the operational rollout of partner programs across all partner types (2-Tier, Distribution, Service Providers).
- Partner with Data & Analytics to define and track KPIs, build dashboards, analyze program performance and produce QBR data.
- Administer partner incentives and rebates, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Manage cross-functional initiatives and represent Channel Ops across Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and IT.
- Lead and develop a small team of channel operations professionals.
- Occasional global travel may be required (<10%).
- 5+ years of experience in channel programs and operations, ideally with a high-growth networking or security vendor.
- Proven ability to manage partner program operations at scale, across multiple geographies and partner types.
- Deep understanding of channel sales motions and partner ecosystems.
- Advanced proficiency with SFDC, Excel, and Clari; familiarity with BI tools like Tableau is strongly preferred.
- Experience leading and mentoring virtual teams in cross-functional environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and operational skills.
- Effective communicator who can build trust with sales leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing execution with long-term strategy.
- Curious, collaborative, and adaptable to fast-changing priorities.
- Bonus points if you’ve implemented global programs or driven process improvements across distributed teams.
