<p></p><p><strong>Senior IT Operations &amp; Security Manager</strong></p><p>VCLS, a leading consultancy firm in the life sciences industry, is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Operations &amp; Security Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the IT operations and security at VCLS, ensuring the smooth functioning and protection of our IT infrastructure and services.</p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul> <li>Lead and manage the IT operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.</li> <li>Ensure the availability, performance, and security of systems, networks, and applications.</li> <li>Implement and maintain IT security policies, procedures, and best practices.</li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address their IT needs and requirements.</li> <li>Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring their successful completion within scope, budget, and timeline.</li> <li>Oversee the maintenance and support of hardware, software, and network infrastructure.</li> <li>Manage security incidents and conduct investigations to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.</li> <li>Implement and maintain IT service management processes and tools.</li> <li>Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.</li> <li>Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring service level agreements are met.</li> <li>Prepare and manage the IT budget, monitoring expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, such as data protection and security standards.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.</li> <li>Proven experience as an IT Operations Manager or similar role.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and networks. (Microsoft Environment)</li> <li>Hands-on experience with IT security policies, procedures, and best practices.</li> <li>Experience in managing IT projects from initiation to completion.</li> <li>Excellent leadership and managerial skills.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.</li> <li>Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.</li> <li>Certifications such as CISSP or CISM are preferred.</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.</li> </ul>
