As a Senior Actuarial Analyst, you will help implement loss forecasting analysis, conduct ad hoc studies, and mature benchmarking capabilities.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare actuarial analysis and summaries, including trend analysis and loss reserve estimation.
- Develop dashboards and scorecards for benchmarking and special statistical/actuarial studies
- Develop reusable templates, tools, processes, and reports for review
- Collaborate with team members on improving risk financing tools for ease of use for casualty insurance business
- Support all client work and deliver to requesting teams in a timely manner
- Independently handle statistical/actuarial analysis for large and medium casualty clients and publish summaries for WS clients
- Apply sophisticated catastrophe/actuarial modeling principles to loss forecasting
- Support data science/actuarial/client account team projects through data gathering and analysis

Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Actuarial Sciences or a similar quantitative discipline
- At least 3-5 years of full-time professional experience in actuarial or pricing reserving or similar activities, with demonstrated application of data science to forecast claim liabilities a plus.
- Associateship designation from the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS)
- Experience in understanding fundamental and technical analysis of securities
- Thorough understanding of actuarial and statistical methods involved in building frequency and severity models
- Demonstrable 2 or more years of experience in applying Excel, VBA, and modeling languages (Python or SAS or R) to solve complex analysis problems such as simulation, stochastic reserve analysis, exposure mix analysis, or claims analysis.
- Fundamental understanding of corporate finance and accounting and it’s application.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrable acumen, inclination, or focus on FINTECH concepts, terminologies, and processes.
- Prior experience with Tableau, Power BI, R-Shiny is a plus.

More About Us:
Compensation: Anticipated salary between $83,270.00 - $138,784.00. Salary offered will be dependent upon geography, experience, and expertise of the candidate.
This position is eligible to participate in an incentive program to earn additional compensation with a target equivalent to 8% of salary annually,
