As a Program Manager - Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at our rapidly growing tech company, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping strategies, programs, and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging throughout our organization. The work you’ll do:

  • Take our existing DEI strategy to the next level and ensure alignment with the company's values and leadership principles
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate the organization's current DEI practices, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address gaps
  • Partner with the various HR functions and people managers across all teams to ensure that DEI considerations are integrated into recruitment, hiring, benefits  and promotion processes to attract and retain diverse talent from diverse backgrounds
  • Act as a consultant to business resource groups (BRGs) and actively participate in relevant activities planned by the groups 
  • Set and track DEI objectives and report regularly to various stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Keep up to date with and maintain compliance with global laws, regulations, and standards that are focused on inclusion in the workplace
  • Revise the communication on our website, social media pages, job descriptions and internal documents to ensure we use non-discriminatory language
  • Collaborate with our Legal and Policy teams to create and update company policies and guidelines that address DEI related topics
  • Design and refine workshops and training on how to appropriately act, speak and behave in the workplace (targeting a variety of stakeholders and level of seniority)
  • Coordinate external partnerships related to diversity, equity and inclusion and stay on top of latest trends, developments and innovation in the space of creating a diverse and inclusive work environment

 

The qualifications you need:

 

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a Diversity & Inclusion role or similar function, ideally in a rapidly growing and constantly changing work environment at a larger organization
  • Good understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles, concepts, and best practices
  • Knowledge of global, national and local labor and human rights laws and experience working with (global) policies and creating company-wide guidelines
  • Project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and execute complex DEI initiatives, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
  • An open and honest personality, who is passionate about improving the work lives of others
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate DEI concepts and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Good problem-solving and conflict management skills
  • Familiarity with HRM systems and DEI tools
  • Business fluency in English
