Duties and Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for using established guidelines and procedures to assist internal and external customer requests for information related to driver license, driver history records. The incumbent in this position will be responsible for researching and responding to information requests using various sources, such as Motorist Maintenance, CCIS. This position will also be responsible for updating information to the Florida driver record.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of basic office procedures.
- Ability to review information for accuracy and completeness.
- Skill in using Comprehensive Case Information System (CCIS), DL Maintenance, Internet Records Information System (IRIS), Motorist Maintenance (MM) and Customer Service Center (CSC) Expert System.
- Ability to be detailed oriented.
- Ability to organize and maintain filing systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Skill in researching and verifying information.
- Knowledge of and the ability to apply, state and federal motor vehicle laws and DHSMV operations, policies and procedures.
- Skill in providing customer service to diverse cliental in a tactful, courteous and non-judgmental manner.
- Ability to work well independently.
- Skill in operating office equipment such as a personal computer, multi-line telephone, printer, scanner, fax machine.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will also be given to applicants who have experience:
- Experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience in providing customer service to internal and external customers.
