Utilities Manager – HVAC / Electrical
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will provide technical and administrative leadership to a large and diverse group of craft-oriented personnel, with areas of focus including HVAC, refrigeration, environmental controls, electrical systems, and utility systems.
The schedule for this role will be on a Monday through Friday schedule from 7 AM to 4 PM.
Responsible for leading the Amgen NC F&E utility staff supporting utility operations including HVAC and electrical systems at the site.
Provide support as required to maintain continuous and compliant (safety, quality, etc.) utility operations at the site.
Management and monitoring of a robust utility system maintenance program consisting of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize personnel safety, equipment reliability, overall equipment effectiveness, and product quality.
Lead maintenance strategies for Utility systems, including startup, commissioning, qualification support, daily operations, preventive/predictive/corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and vendor/service-provider oversight.
Provide leadership for HVAC and environmental control systems including air handling and exhaust fan units, biosafety cabinets, air directional flow hoods, HEPA filtration/certification, walk-in cold rooms and freezers, refrigeration/DX systems, environmental chambers, steam, chilled water, compressed air, cooling tower water, and heating hot water systems.
