Job summary:

Are you passionate about finding top talent and creating an exceptional candidate and new hire experience? As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at CData, you’ll own the full recruitment lifecycle for the US-based team, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and extending offers. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers to ensure every hire is a great fit, while also managing seamless onboarding experiences that make new team members feel welcome from day one.

In this role, you’ll also help shape CData’s employer brand, participate in career fairs, and collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to create engaging employee experiences. Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Recruitment:

  • Own the full talent acquisition life cycle (postings, sourcing, initial phone screens, coordination of interviews, offers, etc.) for all assigned requisitions.
  • Work with hiring managers to establish interview stages/interviewers, determine key competencies to assess, structured interview questions, assessments, etc.
  • Maintain notes, candidate status, workflow, pipeline, etc. in the company’s current Applicant Tracking System.
  • Consistently engage with and provide updates to hiring managers/execs on status of recruitment to achieve time to fill goals of less than thirty days.
  • Establish/Maintain efficient processes for recruiting workflow and candidate experience.
  • Partner with Web Development team to update and maintain CData’s Career Site.
  • Attend University career fairs to promote CData’s mission, culture, and open roles.
  • Consult with external consultants and staffing firms as needed.


Onboarding:

  • Manage hiring activities for all accepted offers; background checks, HR System processes, I9s, welcome information/packages, etc.
  • Create, complete, and maintain new employee files.
  • Notify and coordinate with IT, Finance, and Marketing new hire’s setup needs, Welcome box items, etc. to ensure a seamless and positive new hire experience even before their first day.
  • Coordinate with hiring manager to establish a ramp plan for engaging, onboarding, and training new hire.
  • Lead new hire orientations, complete hiring processes in ADP, ensure new hires complete enrollment of benefits, required training, etc.
  • Partner with Marketing to order company swag supplies as needed for career fairs and new hire welcome packages.


General HR:

  • Maintain/improve employer branding on Glassdoor and other social sites.
  • Assist with planning and coordination of employee-focused, engagement activities/development activities/events in partnership with CData’s culture club.
  • Maintain payroll tracker to ensure new hires are correctly captured during each pay period.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of recruiting experience, ideally within a fast-paced technology or global organization.
  • Proven track record managing the full-cycle recruitment process across a variety of roles and departments.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, and HRIS platforms (Greenhouse, Rippling preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
  • Comfortable leveraging sourcing tools, job boards, and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.) to attract top talent.
  • Strong organization
