Description:

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds.  We are seeking a talented and motivated Executive Administrator, R&D - Generics to join our team.  In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the VP, R&D – Generics (global executive) and the global R&D management team.  This role interacts with corporate, government, or community visitors and guests, as well as any vendor engaged for any assistance with onsite/offsite maintenance, activity, or events.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onsite attendance and punctuality is required
  • Operate professionally, confidentially and accurately in a fast-paced complex environment that involves significant interactions with high level internal and external stakeholders
  • Responsibilities include all administrative functions such as calendar management, processing invoices, taking minutes and tracking items due from staff, preparing presentations from source material, modifying business documents.
  • Organizes programs, events, meetings, or conferences by arranging facilities and caterers, issuing information or invitations, coordinating speakers, and controlling event budget
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reporting, some travel may be required.
  • Serves as primary contact for all levels of R&D management and staff
  • Independently researches, prioritizes and follows-up on multiple incoming issues and concerns addressed to the R&D Leadership Team, including those of a sensitive nature and propose an appropriate course of action

 

Qualifications:

  • Basic pharmaceutical/healthcare industry background along with administrative experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 5 years progressively responsible business and technical experience in lieu of degree requirement.
  • Demonstrated strong computer skills with proficiency (advanced level) in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with a strong, demonstrated working knowledge of SAP.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in difficult situations.
  • Ability to work independently to prioritize and handle multiple, simultaneous, and complex tasks and projects.
  • Project management skills, to include organizing, prioritizing and scheduling work assignments.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to anticipate and plan ahead.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of co-workers in a diverse community and of a multitude of leadership level.
