The Job:  

As a Senior Analyst - Data Management & Reporting, you’ll be part of our Corporate FP&A EPM Solutions team working as a hybrid employee. You’ll get to:  

  • Own all metadata and metadata attributes across SBD Global Reporting for HFM, EPM Planning applications and downstream analytic solutions.

  • Partner with business users to understand reporting needs and develop visualizations of desired metadata changes.

  • Review metadata requests for completeness; communicate gaps and drive to resolution.

  • Lead functional and technical assessment for impact and required attributes prior to implementation.

  • Maintain governance around the standard monthly metadata change process and lead monthly approval meetings.

  • Implement Approved metadata changes via Oracle EDM application.

  • Test and validate deployed metadata changes for accuracy and desired impact.

  • Create communications of deployed metadata changes for distribution to various user groups; manage microsite with up-to-date dimension hierarchies for user reference.

  • Partner with IT for technical upgrades and changes.

  • Support data management within the team during monthly close and other key processes. Drive continuous process improvement and work on special projects as needed.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, MIS, or Information Management; 2+ years of financial planning and analysis or business-related experience.

  • Experience with Oracle applications (i.e., EDM/DRM, EPM/Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Smartview, HFM, etc.) preferred.

  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint; Alteryx experience a plus.

  • Ability to analyze customer needs through soliciting, evaluating, and acting upon feedback.

  • Ability to communicate effectively across various user groups (Functional, Regional, etc.).

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $75,800.00 - $105,000.00 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
