What you'll do:

The Senior Developer - Reporting & Analytics will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position will be responsible for designing, building, and managing databases utilized for reporting and analytics solutions, by creating queries and procedures that retrieve, manipulate, build and/or modify database tables. Additionally, this position will be responsible for optimizing database performance, testing/troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with other team members to create and execute new features.

• Creating and maintaining database documentation
• Implementing and maintaining database security measures
• Develop high-quality database solutions.
• Analyze existing queries for performance improvements.
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.

• Reporting and Dashboard Development:
• Collaborate on the design, build, and maintenance of advanced dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key business performance metrics.
• Develop automation techniques from available technology to produce efficient and effective processes.
• Identify opportunities for automating manual reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work closely with business units to understand reporting and analytical needs.
• Translate business questions into analytical tasks and provide solutions that drive strategic decisions.
• Data Integrity and Governance:
• Design and implement systems to ensure data accuracy and reliability by performing thorough validation and quality checks.
• Maintain and uphold data and reporting standards, ensuring consistency and compliance across all projects worked on.
• Collaborate with IT teams to enhance data infrastructure and improve data accessibility.
• May help train other junior members of the team.

What you need to have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years’ experience as a developer or similar role preferably a banking or financial services.
• Excellent understanding of SQL programming and Microsoft SQL Server. Python is a plus.
• High Proficiency in writing complex queries and experience with data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of data analysis tools and data visualization platforms such as Power BI
• Knowledge of extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and SQL Server Analysis Services.
