What You’ll Do
As a Lead Business Office Assistant (BOA) at OrthoAtlanta, you will:
- Support Daily Operations: Check patients in and out, collect co-pays, verify insurance, and assist clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Oversee Administrative Accuracy: Maintain and review patient charts, post payments, prepare daily cashier reports, balance sheets, and bank deposits.
- Coordinate Scheduling: Manage appointment scheduling, print daily schedules and forms, and follow up on missed appointments.
- Insurance & Benefits Management: Verify coverage, obtain authorizations, communicate benefit details, and manage self-pay collections.
- Regional Leadership: Serve as the primary resource for BOA questions and concerns, conduct training for new BOAs, and provide coverage across multiple locations when needed.
- Quality Assurance: Perform regular audits of BOAs within your territory to ensure efficiency and compliance with procedures.
- Collaboration: Partner with Clinic Directors to coordinate staffing, provide performance feedback, and improve front office operations.

What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in a medical office setting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
