JOB TITLE: Qualified Professional – Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR)
LOCATION: Wilmington, NC
SCHEDULE: Full-Time
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Qualified Professional (QP) managing the Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) program is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, implementation, and development of the PSR services in accordance with North Carolina state regulations. The QP will provide supervision to staff, ensure program adherence to therapeutic models, monitor participant progress, and foster a supportive and therapeutic environment for individuals with mental health challenges.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education:
- Master’s degree in a human services field (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field) required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a Qualified Professional (QP) in behavioral health services required.
- At least two years of experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness in a psychosocial rehabilitation, partial hospitalization program, or inpatient setting.
- Experience managing or supervising clinical staff preferred.
- Licensure as an LCSW/LCSWA, LPA/LP, LCMHCA/LCMHC or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of Medicaid regulations, North Carolina mental health service requirements, and evidence-based practices in PSR.
- Ability to develop and implement person centered plans (PCP) in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems and proper documentation practices.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- Program Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the PSR program, ensuring compliance with North Carolina Medicaid and state regulations.
- Ensures program operates at minimum 5 days per wk for 5 hours per day.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized Person Centered Plans (PCPs) in collaboration with program participants and their families or caregivers with appropriate consents in place.
- Ensure services are delivered in line with evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered approaches determined by program leadership.

- Provide supervision to program staff, including paraprofessionals, peer support specialists, and other staff.
