About the role

The Windreich Department of Artificial Intelligence and Human Health is seeking an Education Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and administration of AI-related educational initiatives. Reporting to the Chief of Staff and the System Chief of Education, this individual will collaborate with faculty, staff, trainees, and institutional partners to deliver innovative and effective educational programs in artificial intelligence across Mount Sinai.

Program Coordination & Development

  • Coordinate logistics for in-person, virtual, and hybrid AI education programs including workshops, boot camps, seminars, and short courses.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to create and disseminate course materials, syllabi, and promotional content.
  • Support program planning and scheduling, and maintain up-to-date program calendars.

Certification Management

  • Assist in the development, renewal, and documentation of internal and external certifications.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and accreditation requirements.
  • Track and report learner progress and credentialing outcomes.

Monitoring & Evaluation

  • Design and implement surveys and tools to assess program effectiveness.
  • Compile and analyze data for internal reporting, grant proposals, and scholarly dissemination.

Administrative Support

  • Serve as a liaison between the AI education team and departments, learners, and administrative offices.
  • Schedule meetings, maintain records, take meeting minutes, and track follow-up items for faculty members as needed.
  • Support budget tracking, procurement, and other administrative needs related to educational initiatives.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, public health, healthcare administration, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may substitute for the degree when the experiences are closely related to the duties of the job.
  • 2+ years of experience in academic coordination, program management, or educational support preferred.
  • Experience in higher education, academic medical centers, or continuing education initiatives is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
