Overview

In connection with the adoption of Regulation YY (Enhanced Prudential Standards), Natixis has implemented an enhanced risk management framework to coordinate its Combined US Operations (“CUSO”). Reporting to the Secrétaire Général of the CUSO and the NIM US Head of Compliance, the Regulatory Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that elements of the Natixis CUSO Compliance and related frameworks are implemented at Natixis IM and its affiliated asset managers (“Affiliates”). This is a hybrid position located in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as NIM’s primary point of contact for CUSO projects.
• Lead all aspects of the implementation improvements to the CUSO compliance program that apply to NIM’s investment adviser/distribution affiliates.
• Conduct and/or facilitate CUSO risk assessments.
• Draft and/or contribute to CUSO policies and procedures.
• Prepare compliance reporting for various partners/governance bodies.
• Interact with NIM affiliates on CUSO related topics.
• Represent NIM in CUSO governance forums.
• Assist with CUSO related regulatory requests, examinations, and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in compliance at a foreign banking organization or regulatory consulting practice.
• Solid understanding of the US bank regulations and related compliance obligations.
• Experience building, implementing, and managing compliance programs.
• Validated project management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
• Self-starter and highly organized individual able to work well in a deadline driven environment.
• Computer skills needed (Microsoft Office, Excel).
