Job Description
The Production Supervisor is responsible for planning and managing the day-to-day allocation of resources (equipment, people, materials and systems) in order to efficiently, safely and cost effectively achieves performance targets as agreed with Production Management. This position is located in Saratoga Springs, NY and reports to the Factory Manager.
Night Shift: 4 days per week. Currently Monday – Wednesday, 12pm – 12am and Thursday 10am – 2pm (starting in April will move to 4x10hr. 4:30pm – 3am), then full night shift 5pm – 5am (if demand increases to the point, we need more production).

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure that a high quality of products, services, housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained and improved in the area
• Review daily achievement of targets and report variances during on-the-floor and review meetings
• Coach, mentor and develop team members to meet current and future business requirements
• Prioritize, schedule, and ensure maintenance and repairs are completed to maximize efficiency
• Review daily effectiveness with Maintenance Mechanic and Team members to identify opportunities for improvement
• Ensure the development and implementation of action plans to address root causes of failures and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Facilitate seamless handoffs and communicate key information to peers, team members and Production Management
• Understand internal and external regulations, procedures and policies and apply them fairly and consistently
• Manage relationships with internal customers and suppliers, colleagues and support services to ensure achievement of targets
• Developing and leading the Night Shift production team
• Ability to lead independently
• Create a strong culture of teamwork and collaboration
Qualifications
Key qualifications include:
• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity with line ownership is required
• Experience with line maintenance and supervising mechanics is preferred
• Four-year degree is preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and maintenance of production line equipment
• Excellent problem solving ability
• PC Skills including MS excel and Word
• Familiarity with quality and hygiene regulations
• Ability to multi-task and delegate
• Effective communication skills
• Experience with AMM systems, such as SAP, is preferred
• Ability to manage, coach and develop employees
• Ability to build a strong results driven culture on your shift through employee engagement is a must
Pay Range: $74,310.00 - $96,978.00. This role is eligible for a 10% annual bonus.
