Maintenance Technician (Part-Time) - Hotel Industry


Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Part-Time Hotel Maintenance Technician, where your skills will help ensure our property remains a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of a busy hotel.


Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general building repairs

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently

- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of hotel assets

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs

- Assist with setup and breakdown for hotel events and functions as needed

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel policies at all times


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in general maintenance, repair, or facilities management

- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required

Requirements

Oversees all maintenance operations for the property, ensuring systems and equipment are functioning efficiently and safely. Responsible for preventive maintenance programs, departmental leadership, and coordination with vendors and contractors. Maintains a clean, safe, and well-functioning facility for guests and team members. 

Specific Job Physical Requirements:

Must be able to walk/stand a total of 8 hours per day. 

Must be able to lift 50–75 lbs. 

Must be able to carry 35–50 lbs. up to 200 ft. 

Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, climb, reach above shoulder level, kneel, grasp, push, and pull.
