Job Description
Business Area Nordics is responsible for providing clean energy to Statkraft’s Nordic markets. BA Nordics consists currently of 1200 motivated employees working with the following mission:
We will develop BA Nordics to become the driving force in the Nordic energy transition by delivering new wind-, solar- and hydropower generation. And we will establish Statkraft as an industrial offshore wind player. We will protect and optimise the long-term value of Statkraft’ s Nordic generation asset portfolio (52,6 TWh renewable energy production) and ownership positions.
We are looking for a Senior performance analyst where the main task will be to drive Nordics performance processes and provide analytical support to challenge and improve Nordics business.
This position is placed in the Nordics finance department which is responsible for prudent and forward-looking financial reporting, forecasting, analysis, performance and risk management and capital allocation for all Nordic asset and development portfolios.
You will be part of the Performance and Risk team with focus to drive and challenge performance & risk through development and continuous improvement of processes used in business area Nordics.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the yearly planning process in BA Nordics; supporting business units and the management team with setting objectives, risk, actions and KPIs. Communicate plan to top BA Nordics management.
- Responsible for quarterly EBIT forecast reporting for the Nordics Business segment in Statkraft.
- Analyze relevant performance information to management and identify improvements.
- Ensure transparent and understood cost model, providing a clear link between financial reporting and performance management, including P/L, KPIs etc
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with
- Master’s degree in finance or similar
- Financial and commercial mindset with focus on drivers and value creation
- Advanced user of analytic tools and reporting systems, and ability to utilize new technology/digital tools as a way of working
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Fluency in English (written and spoken), as well as fluency in one of the Scandinavian languages
- Strong communicator who collaborates well with stakeholders from different business areas and functions
- Excellent analytical skills
- Highly organized and self-driven
- High personal integrity and high ethical standards
Statkraft manages critical infrastructure and services in several countries. The applicant must be eligible to pass the necessary background check according to regulatory requirements.
