Position Specific Description

Employees in this role are responsible for searching and examining land records, due diligence, identifying potential title issues, and resolving them to ensure a clear transfer of ownership. In this role, you will work closely with developers, acquisition teams, and attorneys to gather and analyze property records, including deeds, mortgages, liens, and other legal documents. Proficiency in title search software, public record databases and deed plotting software are required.

Attention to detail, and excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary. In addition, a working knowledge of probate and real estate laws and regulations are essential for success in this position. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Real Estate, Law, Right of Way, Renewable or Oil and Gas industry, or a related field. Must be able to work both independently and as a part of a team, in a high pace atmosphere.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Research private and public records
• Determine surface and mineral ownership
• Calculate fractional interest
• Analyze and interpret legal documents
• Deed plot legal descriptions
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
• Travel availability ~50%+

• Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma; other states considered
• Near a major airport

Job Overview

Employees in this role are responsible for planning, controlling and directing real estate activities such as site location and acquisition, right-of-way negotiation, building and land acquisition and disposition, space leasing, property management, and maintenance of properties to support wind site development. This position will be located in field office with significant travel requirements.

•   Analyzes and interprets legal documents
•   Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED
• Associates Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Experience: 3+ years
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
