About the role
This position requires an experienced professional who has a broad understanding of regulatory compliance solutions, industry best practices, and the ability to execute against and drive improvements in continuous monitoring processes based on US Government authorization standards. Functions include the ability to:
- Perform evaluation of internal operations, controls, communications, risk assessments and maintenance of documentation as related to regulatory compliance and recommends appropriate changes.
- Conduct and facilitate internal and external third party audits to identify, evaluate, disclose and appropriately remedy risks and deficiencies.
- Coordinate the preparation of and may prepare document packages for regulatory submissions from all areas of company as well as for internal and external audits and inspections.
- May serve as point of contact for interactions with regulatory agencies for defined matters.
- Respond to security and/or compliance related requests and RFPs . Update and maintain internal and externally facing security documentation.
- Maintain and update security and compliance reporting.
- Facilitate vendor security assessments as needed.
- Manage security and/or quality, and compliance related projects.
- Maintain awareness of evolving trends and current state of relevant compliance programs to integrate process improvements in existing activities
Successful candidates for this position must be very comfortable operating in a fast-paced organization. Candidates will be expected to engage in new compliance efforts, as well as maintain existing regulatory compliance obligations.
- 5+ years experience in the IT or Cloud industry is preferred
- Working knowledge of industry and regulatory frameworks is preferable, including FedRAMP, CMMC, SOC 1 & SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI, ISO Series, C5, CSA STAR, HITRUST
- Proven ability to combine business acumen, technical acumen and process expertise to define client (internal/external) engagement and program execution
- Proven ability to influence & gain buy-in at multiple levels, across divisions, functions and cultures; comfort working with management
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results through cross-functional, virtual teams
- Possess ability to explain complex compliance topics to audiences with no direct experience in the subject matter
- Ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously and partner with management in support of key initiatives and projects
- Strong bias toward action, flexible, resourceful, and able to operate effectively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Superior communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, presentation written, email, tickets, etc.)
- JIRA and Confluence experience strongly preferred

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $70,600 to $141,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
