Reporting to the Business Analysis Manager and as part of the Project Management team, the IT Project Manager will manage technology projects of varying sizes, scopes, and focuses. The IT Project Manager will work with and oversee cross-functional teams, ensuring the ability to plan, develop, secure resources for, and deliver projects effectively. This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, leading teams to achieve project goals, and utilizing appropriate project management techniques. The IT Project Manager will develop comprehensive project plans, adjust projects based on changing business priorities, and manage project artifacts and risks. Additionally, they will coordinate and resolve conflicts within and between project teams, effectively use project management tools, and facilitate team discussions and team-building activities.
The IT Project Manager will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and adaptability. They will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop work breakdown structures, manage project schedules, mitigate risks, create communication plans, allocate resources, and deliver comprehensive project reports. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the project lifecycle, resource management, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Experience with Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) tools and leading data projects is highly beneficial. A key component of success in this role is demonstrating effective communication and guiding the engagement of all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. OOE IT values customer-focused candidates with excellent written and oral communication, listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Candidates should communicate ideas in both specialized and audience-appropriate language, be able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, possess keen attention to detail, think outside of the box, and challenge the status quo.
