Senior Project Engineer - Ejection Seats (Onsite)

Collins Ejection Seating is the leader in providing a safe and robust Ejection System to most USAF platforms. Currently we are in the process of modernizing our fleets to the upgraded ACES 5 platform, providing a much safer ejection envelop to ensure those who are born to fly, can walk away.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensures processes are adhered to by the engineering execution team and liaises with program management and other IPT leads to assure technical goals are achieved.
Responsible for capturing lessons learned.
Take ownership of technical project execution through Design & Development activities into Production
Present project status to multiple levels of Leadership
Work as part of a cohesive team with test engineering, product engineering, system engineering, program management and Operations
Maintain and oversee Earned Value Management as a Cost Account Manager and Product Owner
Breakdown Work Package and tasking via Jira Work Packages and Stories
Align on an Agile execution for Systems, Test and Mechanical Design tasking
Outstanding communication skills, especially cross-discipline
Exhibit a positive attitude and great mentoring/delegating skills
Strong interpersonal skills and skills facilitating working in a team environment
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience OR In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
Agile Experience (Alm: Jira/Wiki experience required)
EVMS/CAM Experience
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
