As Principal Investigator for the Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with Japan Atomic Energy Agency on “Metal Fuel and Pyroprocessing for Sodium-Cooled Fast Reactor,” to manage the entire project for a duration of four years.
This position will oversee the following activities associated with this CRADA:
Developing the CRADA documentation for this project and work with Argonne contracting office to gain approval.
Developing the work breakdown structure for this project.
Overseeing and coordinating the efforts of multidisciplinary personnel in NSE, CFCT, and EOF divisions who will be performing the work.
Managing the budget for this CRADA.
Administering and coordinating the necessary meetings supporting this CRADA.
Preparing the final CRADA report in accordance with the CRADA schedule.
Position Requirements
Ph.D. in nuclear engineering or related fields.
Experience in research and development of sodium-cooled fast reactor technologies and its associated fuel cycle technologies.
Demonstrated experience managing fuel cycle design development projects.
Demonstrated experience with managing design projects with Korea or Japan
RD6: Phd and 15+ years of experience.
