Program Support Assistant

Program Support Assistant - Full-Time,Day shift 8 hrs a day Mon-Fri 0800-1600 - Swedish Edmonds

The case management associate participates on the Case Management Team (CMT), with the guidance of the nurse case manager and social worker, assists in facilitating appropriate patient placement; utilizes hospital and community resources for continuity of patient care; serves as Utilization Management liaison; collaborates with Medical staff, CMT members, Business Office, Medical Records and other hospital staff; performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year Job related experience in a healthcare setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree
• Bachelor's Degree
• Upon hire: Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA), Health Unit Coordinator (HUC), Medical Terminology
• Prior experience in discharge planning, billing, utilization review, financial counseling or registration.
• Proficiency in medical terminology.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
