In this cross-functional role, you’ll plan, coordinate, and execute all AV demonstrations—ranging from executive ride-alongs to OEM and press showcases—ensuring our technology is experienced at its best, every time.</p> <p>You’ll manage and grow a high-performing demo team, acting as the main point of contact for all incoming requests. You'll prioritise, schedule, and scope each demo, working closely with the Shift Leads to ensure the right vehicles are prepared and ready.</p> <p>For bespoke demos, you’ll lead preparation efforts—coordinating across teams to meet unique needs without compromising safety or quality. As a subject matter expert, you’ll also support cross-functional projects, offering on-the-ground operational insight to new and evolving initiatives.<br/><br/></p> <h2><strong>Role and responsibilities</strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>Own Demo Operations End-to-End:</strong> Lead all demo activities from scheduling and prep to execution and debriefs. Establish operational best practices, SOPs, and quality standards.</li> <li><strong>Lead and Grow the Demo Team</strong>: Recruit, manage, and mentor a team of Demo Operators and Coordinators to ensure world-class delivery at scale.</li> <li><strong>Program Management: </strong>Drive the demo roadmap across stakeholders, aligning with product milestones, customer needs, and company goals.</li> <li><strong>Demo Strategy &amp; Innovation: </strong>Design and refine demo scenarios that effectively showcase our AV capabilities, tailoring for various use cases and audiences.</li> <li><strong>Operational Readiness: </strong>Ensure all demo vehicles, environments, and support systems are consistently maintained, tested, and ready for action.</li> <li><strong>Metrics &amp; Continuous Improvement:</strong> Track performance, gather feedback, and iterate on processes to raise the bar over time.</li> <li><strong>Scale Nationwide</strong>: Design and deliver demo activations outside London, including full roadshows and remote pilot deployments across the UK.</li> <li><strong>Route Design Expertise: </strong>Use local knowledge, Google My Maps, and Wayve’s console system to craft engaging, repeatable, realistic, and technically sound demo routes—both in familiar cities and entirely new locations.</li> <li><strong>Master the Console System:</strong> Operate Wayve’s internal tools to plan routes, monitor demo vehicles, and ensure a safe and consistent experience across demos.</li> <li><strong>Cross-Functional Program Delivery: </strong>Partner with Engineering, Product, Vehicle Ops, Safety, and Comms to align on messaging, vehicle readiness, and delivery cadence.</li> <li><strong>Customer &amp; Stakeholder Experience:</strong> Deliver polished, high-stakes demo experiences to a range of audiences—from government officials and investors to OEM partners and press.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>About you</strong></h2> <ul> <li>A hands-on operator with strong program management skills and an obsession for detail.</li> <li>A natural leader who enjoys building and scaling teams.</li> <li>Calm under pressure, with a bias for action and an ability to juggle multiple complex threads.</li> <li>Passionate about autonomy, AI, or robotics, and able to communicate its value clearly.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Essential</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Experience
