What we’re looking for: 

As a Senior Engineer, you will be instrumental in the creation of a groundbreaking ad tech product, built from the ground up for both internal and external, vendor-impacting tracking and measurement. This platform will play a vital role in enabling targeted advertising and optimizing user experience. This position will include hands-on web development, working closely with Product Managers, Data Science, UX/Design and Engineering teams to build a scalable and efficient solution that helps Gartner Digital Market’s achieve new heights.

Why you’ll want to come to work:

• Architect and develop innovative solutions for web tracking and Ad Tech platform integrations, addressing the unique challenges of the Gartner Digital Marketing’s advertising space.

• Responsible for developing various scalable ads systems, including serving, measurement, targeting, reporting, etc.

• Build service frameworks with the highest performance and availability.

• Integrate with third-party measurement partners.

• Perform hands-on development and provide thoughtful code reviews and architectural insights.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, manage and execute against product vision and roadmaps.

• Ensure the platform's compliance with industry standards and best practices in ad tech.

• Mentor and guide a team of engineers, contributing to a culture of innovation and excellence.

• Stay up to date on emerging trends and technologies in ad tech and digital marketing.

What you’ll bring to the team:

Must have:

• Experience working between client and server side web technology

• Experience in client side web technologies (Page Render approaches, Caching, Middleware, Request Headers)

• Experience in server side software language (ex: golang, php, nodejs)

• Experience in a high performance low latency environment

Nice to have:

• Experience/Working knowledge of React/Next JS

• Experience/Working knowledge of operational environments

• Experience/Working knowledge of relational and/or non-relational databases
