As a Financial Analyst for the Shelly Corporate Finance Team, you will report directly to the VP of Finance. Prepare journal entries, maintain balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account reconciliations. You will participate in monthly closings, account analysis and support the Finance Team in carrying out the responsibilities of the department.

 

• Financial Statement Analysis
• Assist with US GAAP and IFRS GAAP Pack
• Assist with Shelly Group Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) processes and requests
• Reconcile bank statements and report discrepancy problems
• Assist in ongoing process improvement and automation
• Assist with debt statement allocation entries and balancing
• Variance analysis between budgeted and actuals
• Meet information requests of both external and internal auditors
• Cross train with other Corporate Staff for vacation coverage
• Strict adherence to Shelly Company policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Book of Policies
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
• Participate in ad hoc projects as required

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

 

• Associates Degree required, Bachelors Degree preferred 
• 2-5 years related experience and/or training
