SENIOR TECHNICIAN

Position Title: SENIOR TECHNICIAN - NYC 

Salary: $27-$35 per hour

Within Compass Group, Waveguide is part of the Eurest family that provides dining services to local, regional and national companies across the United States. Services include operating employee dining centers, on-site catering, executive dining rooms, and other managed services.

 

Job Summary

This individual will oversee operation of all Audio Visual (AV) support resources for Conference Solutions. They will collaborate professionally with Conference Solutions staff, Compass employees and other departments to service all AV technical support requests for events.

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Ensures the proper set up of audiovisual equipment according to client needs
• Answers trouble calls via AV helpdesk, and responds appropriately
• Tracks maintenance and repair of conference room audio visual equipment
• Maintains clean and safe work environment as to perform the job safely
• Performs other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, Associates degree or comparable experience required
• Convention/conference center experience, preferred
• Supervisory experience, desirable
• Proactive mindset to anticipate and support changes in our business
