Cloud Software Engineer

Responsibilities
In this role, you'll support mission-critical programs that enhance national security by automating complex workflows, enabling our customers to focus on higher-priority analysis and decision-making. You'll be part of a high-performing team that applies Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable software solutions.
This position is based at a contractor facility and offers flexible work schedules. Telework opportunities may be available, subject to tasking requirements and customer approval.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in software development and engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field is highly desired which will be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience. A Master's degree in a Technical Field will be considered equivalent to four (4) years of experience. NOTE: A degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar degree will be considered as a technical field
- Experience with full-stack development, including both front-end and back-end technologies.
Proficiency in:
Java (including Spring and JUnit frameworks)
JavaScript (preferably using React or Vue.js)
JSON for data formatting and exchange
ElasticSearch and the ELK stack for search and log aggregation
Redis for in-memory data storage and caching
MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Docker Swarm or Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platforms and services.
Version control experience using Git and GitLab.
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
- Shall possess at least one of the following Cloud Developer Certifications:
- AWS Certified Developer-Associate
- AWS DevOps Engineer Professional
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.EEO
