As a Senior Retail Supply Planner, you will be the primary supply chain contact on a dynamic, multifunctional sales team managing specific business categories and customer supply chain improvement project:

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivers against core measures
  • Lead development of management systems for total team
  • Drives process improvement leveraging strong technical mastery within both Target and P&G Systems
  • Executes health-checks and improvement plans for standard work processes
  • Leverages Digital Tools to deliver leading supply chain results and identifies new capabilities needed
  • Proactively executes data analysis to recommend solutions on the business as well as drive capacity on daily management systems
  • Leverage technical mastery to contribute to the team’s new supply chain work process, tools, or daily management systems
  • Proactively identify capabilities and tools needed to advance our team and results
  • Owns relationship with Inventory Analyst as Target’s Superior Supply Chain Partner
  • Leads highly complex data analysis to recommend and create breakthrough solutions on the business

Job Qualifications

Education:

  • Have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education, however, a two or four-year college degree or equivalent administrative experience is preferred.

Skills needed:

  • Partnership: Demonstrate capability in managing relationships and influencing internal and external partners, persuasively negotiate alignments to recommended actions and handle objections successfully. Owns external relationship and exercises a high level of influence with the customer over strategic decisions. Demonstrate capability to commercialize opportunities from data analysis, ability to influence internally and externally.
  • Analytics: Demonstrate competency in leveraging data to draw insights and actions, understanding key business metrics and how to impact them, and capability to create breakthrough solutions on the business for complex problems. Capable at Excel, Power BI, and can quickly learn additional systems.
  • Leadership: Deliver best in class horizontal process ownership enabling team capability internally and externally beyond category ownership. Ability to coach team and improve on areas of expertise. Ability to lead the development of total team capability for new supply chain work processes or daily management systems. Demonstrate consistently strong communication skills both written and verbal as P&G representative with customer.
  • Project Management: Demonstrate capability to lead work team through new project/process change, capability to develop, train, and calibrate best practices across work team, ability to track, communicate, maintain progress against milestone timelines.
  • Innovation: Demonstrate capability to improve tools / work processes and partner to ensure our capabilities and systems stay ahead of the curve. Ability to identify where digital tools can be developed to improve work processes and lead the initiative to develop and implement.
