THE ROLE:
As a Computer/Software Engineer Intern for the summer of 2025, you will support and assist the Display Software Engineering team. This role provides hands-on experience in developing, testing, and integrating software for automotive display systems, including instrument clusters, infotainment units, and driver information systems. The intern will work closely with experienced engineers to build innovative solutions that enhance vehicle user interfaces and driving experiences.
YOUR IMPACT:
As a Computer/Software Engineer Intern your assignments may include:
Assist in the design, development, and testing of software features for automotive display systems.
Contribute to software development in languages such as C, C++ and Python.
Work with embedded systems and real-time operating environments.
Develop and integrate features using Qt framework for Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI).
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement graphics, animations, and display functionalities.
Support debugging, troubleshooting, and software integration with hardware components.
Perform unit testing, regression testing, and validation of display features.
Document development activities, test results, and software improvements.
Participate in peer reviews and other engineering activities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for the duration of the summer 2026 internship. Summer housing is available to interns whose permanent address is greater than 50 miles from their work location.

Pay Range:
$18.00 - $37.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
