We are expanding our team and are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Security Guards to join our team. This is a pivotal role in supporting the company's growth and maintaining security and safety throughout the organization.
Requirements
Position Overview:
- Site Monitoring:
Regularly conduct rounds around the buildings, ensuring all areas, including parking lots and perimeters, are secure and free from security breaches or hazards. - Access Control:
Monitor and oversee entry and exit points at all sites, ensuring proper access control measures are in place and only authorized personnel are allowed on-site. Address and respond to any unauthorized access immediately. - Surveillance & Incident Monitoring:
Continuously monitor live camera footage and review recorded material to identify security risks, incidents, or safety concerns. Proactively address any suspicious activity or breaches of protocol. - Visitor & Vendor Management:
Ensure that all outside vendors, contractors, and visitors adhere to company security protocols. Facilitate the proper check-in and escort procedures for all external individuals on-site. - Accident Response & Reporting:
Respond promptly to accidents, emergencies, or security breaches. Coordinate with emergency services as needed and ensure all incidents are properly documented and reported per company procedures. - Policy Enforcement & Compliance:
Enforce security policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements across all sites. Ensure that all actions taken by the security teams align with company standards and local regulations. - Risk Assessment & Continuous Improvement:
Evaluate existing security protocols, identify potential risks, and implement improvements to enhance security measures. Stay updated on the latest security technologies and best practices. - Collaboration & Communication:
Maintain clear communication with site management, HR, and other departments regarding security concerns and operational needs. Report regularly on security status and incidents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in security.
- In-depth knowledge of security systems, surveillance equipment, and access control technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies or security threats.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, incident reporting, and emergency response protocols.
- Ability to conduct rounds of the premises, including walking, driving, and standing for extended periods. Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
- This position will require flexibility to oversee both the first and second shifts. Some travel between the three sites may be required.
