Mechanical System Design Opportunity

What You Will Do

• Perform complex design activities for Commercial Engine Bearing Compartments and Mechanical Components
• The selected candidate will be in a fast-paced environment, working with experienced design engineers on various tasks supporting operational engines and engines in development
• Travel Requirements: 0%

• The individual will learn about what is required in the overall design process of parts for engines including new and existing designs.
• Engineering Interns at Pratt & Whitney work on challenging, meaningful, and impactful projects across our business.
• Our intern program seeks to help you develop an understanding of the aerospace industry and learn about our company and its operations.

Qualifications You Must Have 

• Enrolled in a degree program in engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer 

• Experience collaborating with a team to develop innovative ideas
• Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience

What is my role type?

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
