About the role:
In a Project Management – Technology role, you’ll use best-in-breed PM tools to help us deliver products that will change the world of fintech. This will include overseeing the development of new products and services as well as new internal information systems and applications, new technology integrations, and infrastructure build-outs.
About the team:
FIS' Asset Finance software simplifies the auto lease or loan process for customers through a streamlined, integrated and highly automated solution.
What you will be doing:
- Working with product development, sales, client relationship teams, technology solutions, service delivery and/or other cross-functional teams.
- Managing project risk and assisting with problem resolution.
- Serving as liaison between technical and non-technical teams.
- Effectively manage the project plan and schedule.
- Oversee the consulting team and ensure adherence to scope, schedule and budget.
- Manage project budget (dollars, days and resource allowances)
- Identify risks, define and deploy mitigation plans or techniques.
- Produce regular status reports, including executive or C-suite level updates on project progress.
What you will need:
• Extensive knowledge of Project Management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines as well as various IT project methodologies and life cycles.
• Advanced skills with project management software.
• A Bbachelor’s in computer science, management information systems or business administration or the equivalent experience – PMP (Project Management Professional) certification may be required.
Experience managing client-facing project implementations of financial software (banking, lending) from Discovery through Closing.
Clear understanding of project deployment methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, SAFE) and ability to work within each or modified applications of each
Added bonus if you have:
- Experience with Asset Finance solutions is essential for success in this role.
- Familiarity with collaborating across multiple teams (client, internal Dev, consulting) to ensure project focus and trajectory remains on course.
- Ability to work with and collaborate with client PM’s to produce and maintain overall project schedule.
- PMP Certification would be an added plus
