Job Description

• During your internship, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing a large, complex Excel-based management system, ensuring its reliability and usability.
• You will use Python (with libraries such as pandas, matplotlib, and sklearn) and Databricks to extract actionable insights from field data and support ongoing projects.
• Additionally, you will refine MS Power BI dashboards to effectively communicate data insights and trends, thereby supporting data-driven decision-making.
• Last but not least, you will contribute to the improvement of an existing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) model for document analysis, including prompt optimization and performance evaluation.

Qualifications

• Education: Master studies in the field of in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering or comparable – preferably with a strong focus on data analysis
• Experience and Knowledge: highly proficient in MS Excel, with strong skills in advanced formulas, data manipulation and automation; solid programming skills in Python with hands-on experience with hands-on experience using data analysis libraries such as pandas, matplotlib, and sklearn; familiarity with LLM concepts and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines; proficiency in developing and maintaining MS Power BI dashboards
• Personality and Working Practice: you are a motivated, fast-learning team player
• Enthusiasm: a passion for working with data, creating insightful analytics and contributing to innovative heat pump technology
• Languages: fluent in German or English

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months
