deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Cost Analyst in Huntsville, AL.

Position Description:

The Cost Analyst will, under minimal supervision, interface with program managers, functional management, and cost accounting managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements. The Cost Analyst will have experience with monthly performance management, financial planning and reporting, and performance measurement baseline concepts. Key duties include developing, recording, tracking, and reporting program financial data to support informed decision-making.

The role involves managing all cost related Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables, such as the Contract Funds Status Report, Cost and Hour Report FlexFile, Contractor Business Data Report, and CWBS. Additionally, they develop cost proposals for task instructions, deliver monthly cost management reports, maintain weekly financial charts, and monitor subcontractor expenditures.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, can manage multiple financial tasks efficiently, and proactively addresses cost risks to keep the program on track. The ability to learn and become proficient with various software tools is essential.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area of study

Experience Requirements:

• 4+ years of relevant experience equivalent to a Program/Cost Analyst
