Acting on behalf of Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical operating companies, the Government Rebate Operations (GRO) team is responsible for ensuring efficient and compliant participation in base and supplemental Medicaid, Manufacturer Discount Program (MDP), Medicare Part D Coverage Gap Discount Program (CGDP), State pharmaceutical assistance rebate programs and other CMS-Government fee/rebate related programs. The GRO team is relied upon to provide oversight on all issues relating to rebate analysis and payments, adjudication of such payments on a timely basis and resolution of any disputes on rebate claims. Additionally, GRO develops and implements agreed upon rebate policies and advises Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical operating companies on strategic and operational issues pertinent to Federal and State rebate programs.

The Senior Manager, GRO is responsible for leading a team that ensures the timely delivery of end-to-end rebate / fee payments and managing the compliant reconciliation of Medicaid disputes & recovery. This individual will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to Medicaid policy/regulations and J&J internal business policies in managing critical components of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of compliant solutions to manage rebates and disputes.
  • Develop and implement processes to effectively deliver against GRO team yearly end to end goals for rebate payments and disputes. Including the monitoring and quarterly reporting of metrics, individual performance metrics and quarterly dispute balances for their team.
  • Ensuring industry best practices are benchmarked and adopted as needed when exploring new opportunities.
  • Keeping abreast of evolving legislation and interpret/provide guidance to provide actionable input on impacts to operations.
  • Provide oversight to ensure successful and timely completion of all Internal, External and Government audits.
  • Apply commercial/cross-channel contracting experience as needed to leverage existing commercial processes and develop solutions to operationalize complex Medicaid strategies.
  • Deliver business results through talent development and coaching direct reports to reach their highest potential.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with State and third-party Medicaid contacts.
  • Manage change through a complex environment.
  • Develop and communicate potential enhancements to operating processes and procedures.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.

Required:

  • Minimum of 8 years of business-related experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct Supervisory experience developing and coaching talent.
  • Experience in process improvement and/or system implementations.
  • Experience working with audit and compliance.
  • Experience with planning and organization of tasks to deliver results in an environment with competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of contract continuum and/or experience managing commercial or government operations.
  • Knowledge of the Medicaid Drug
